Breezeway
The breezeway forms part of the main entrance to the Sydney International Shooting Centre and was designed primarily for the benefit of spectators during the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It is partitioned with glass sliding doors through to the eastern side of the building where spectators and visitors receive panoramic views of the trap and skeet areas as well as the surrounding farmland and bushland upon entrance to the centre.
The breezeway is suitable for social and corporate functions and has capacity seating for 450 or 650 standing. Special occasions held previously on the breezeway include opening and closing ceremonies for major sporting events as well as the NSW Police bravery awards. |
