Participation requirements for Club Members
Membership of an approved club is subject to the following requirements:
Pistol club member – over each 12 month period that the licence is in force:
- participate in at least 6 club organised competitive shooting matches that are held at the club’s shooting range, and
- for each different kind of pistol that the person possesses for different shooting events, undertake at least 4 club organised shoots (the different kinds of pistols are air pistols, rimfire pistols, centrefire pistols and black powder pistols)
Rifle and/or shotgun member – over any period of 12 months:
- participate in no less than 4 shooting competitions conducted by any approved shooting club, or
- attend a shooting range for practice on no less than 4 occasions
